Holy cr$p!! Will we have enough players left to cover 17 on game day? What about injuries?

Fair enough a clean out, but when are they going to start replacing players?

If Bell is leaving then I'm sure they will be getting another forward in the roster. My money is on Brent Kite.
This way they can just get him on a 2 year deal and bleed some youngins during this time.
We need another prop. We have enough backrowers (whether or not people agree they are the type of backrowers we need) and getting any more would be a waste.

Bell is a handy forward,Reddy why did we ever bother signing him?

A classic Tim Sheens signing, old slow and on the downward slide. Their was a long list of them during his reign. Grahame and Lolsie (spellings up the creek) come to mind but their were plenty of others that we payed overs for when their tanks were empty.

THE halfback Wests Tigers said they wanted to lock up from prying clubs, Jacob Miller, has been offered to the Gold Coast as a replacement for Scott Prince.

Article sights no quotes or facts but there is talk of Miller being shopped out again. Good thing I put that membership renewal on hold.

Seriously, no chance. Will not happen. It defies logic. He is already under contract, and would be near minimum wage considering he signed said contract as an u20's player. Why offload him? Can't be for cap space, as you'd have to replace him with someone else on the same money to make up the 25 squad members... Can't be for lack of potential, he is u20's premiership captain, & NSW/Kangaroos rep.

I think we should be honest about a couple of things:-

1. Miller so far in first grade has been pretty much useless. He is far from a sure thing.
2. Ayshford was terrible last year and his worst attribute - his speed - is one of our squads biggest issues.

I don't see why Miller or Ayshford staying is great news.

Maybe both of them will get it together in the top grade but I'm not confident of it happening.

Miller has had 2 games at halfback in 2 years in the NRL.
Furthermore, the last genuine 7 we had at halfback in first grade under Sheens was Mat Head.

Give the kid a f**king chance. Under a new coach who has at least half a brain compared to Sheens, we will see Miller get some game time and will be able to judge him upon that.

Ayshford spent a huge amount of his playing time this year in the back row in some sort of weird arsed Sheens-created position which just saw Ayshford and Lawrence constantly being isolated.

the halves being f**ked around saw Ayshford and Lawrence get no quality ball all year.

2011 is what Ayshford does.

2012 is a complete write off.
