A lot of people like to rate miller on his couple of 1st grade runs. Where he was playing no7 Sheenius style. He was plonked out on the left at first receiver and the ball went right to Benji all night. He was under instructions to catch pass and tackle. He was also playing in a team that was playing busted.

Under Potter he will be given a chance to play no7 and not some hybrid position, give him 6 weeks than we can judge him. Iam sure he will go okay, just having a coach that is willing to give you a rap is good for the kids confidence

Geez its good to have someone on here that knows both Sheens and Potters coaching instructions even though Potter hasn't even said what he wants from Miller to Miller.

Can you tell me what the lottery number next week is going to be - just pm me so I get it mostly to myself.

Tiger05 anyone who saw him play and anyone else that Sheens gave the no7 gig to other than Benji could tell the only thing that resembled a no7 play was the number on their back. Anyway their are some people who are blind and nothing will ever change their outlook, thank god our board took the blinkers off!!!!!

Exactly

This year benji effectively played 6 & 7

Miller, sironen and humble were restricted to a space of 15m on the left side of the field to play in. Every play was worked around benji doing everything. The other blokes never got a chance to show their worth.

Miller has played ONE 80 minute game in first grade. Against Canberra this year I was impressed when her here was a loose ball and he beat 2 raiders player to it to score whilst the rest of the tigers stood there watching it. He showed urgency and wanted it the most. We always lose those little battles, if there's a loose ball on the ground and 2 players are going for it, a tiger never ends up with the ball.

Naturally sheens dropped him after showing this urgency.

100% correct. Give Miller the same chance Lui got and you will see someone 10 times better than the wife beater imo

He actually played a full 80 minute game in 2011 replacing Marshall when he was injured.

Just to be a smartass :)

I think the main point is when ever he has played, he was under instructions from the coach to what role he was to play and basically shackled from doing anything other than make up the numbers. On the other hand Mad Monday was given the keys to car from day one and we all know in the Sheenius years you were either in the group or on the outer and if on the outer ten connective Joye Johns performances would not have helped his cause. I hope we are now moving into a era where that has all changed for the better

I don't know what Sheens' instructions were but Miller did not play the traditional role of a halfback when he played first grade. He wore the 7 but was not played as a halfback. This was very evident and clear.

Miller is still eligible for NYC so give him a chance to learn and develop his game. The fact the Titans are interested in him suggests he is rated as a NRL half.

I will be interested to see Potter's influence on Moltzen, being a former solid fullback. Moltzen could also play right centre?

Miller may still be eligible for NYC but we need a halfback right now.

Yet another example of the facts not getting in the way of you guys posting dribble.

I really hope he turns into a gun but I doubt I would be giving him the first shot at the 7 solely based on what we have seen so far.

They are facts. 5 games, one at five eighth, 2 at halfback, 2 off the bench (two of those occasions i believe he played less than 20 mins)

He has played 2 full games at halfback in 2 years. That is fact.

Do a little research before going off half cocked with accusations in the future.

Moltzen is not a centre. Where do people get the dopey f**king idea that he is?

He is not a great defender at the best times, but at centre he is just flat footed and gets steamrolled every time.

People should realize that Moltzen doesnt fit anywhere in our line up.

I hope he is moved on.

I think they tried, could be all crap but I was told they tried to included him in a deal with Penrith that would have seen Jennings come over to us. I still think Potter may give him a chance at no7.I also think like plenty of others the club is putting heaps of faith in young Brooks making the grade very quickly (2014) so that could leave Miller the odd man out
