Well didn't we make ourselves look like sluts on this deal.

Bring him here when he had no home to go to, pay big $$$ for his 35 year olde legs at the back end of his contract, make him look like he was always a "Dragon", made him the front of house in the media, kept picking him despite a decided lack of previous ability, let him point the finger at the fans and as soon as Mc Humtydumpty has some real pressure applied to him "see you later fellas I'm out of here".

Now here is a perfect opportunity for the club to stand up and be counted by saying "don't let the door hit you in the arse as you leave Jimmy'" and not carry on with this bullshit hat we have to find a replacement before he goes.

Bad enough having blokes that can't play footy at the club but even worse is having blokes around who don't want to play for the club.

Time for Ford & Blacker to earn their stripes.

PS: Jimmy as a last favour to the club (you do owe us one or two) please see if you can take Norman & Hunt with you.

Linked to St. Helens, if the move gets confirmed it means the bulldogs will get the winger (name has escaped me) I kinda want to keep keep Graham now to spite them lol.

Having released two oldies we should give our
youngsters a go. Buying over 30 players has not paid off so we should very selectively develop younger players.

Agree 100%. Imagine where Kerr would be now if he'd had a couple of years of development instead of doubling down on the likes of Latimore and P Kaufusi? He was poached from Melbourne when he was at the edge of first grade and left to sit in reserves for two years. Now is the time for Blacker to get a chance.

On the broader question of this release, as well as Luke, it reminds me very much of what started to happen in 2008 before Bennett landed and he started making roster changes while still at Brisbane. These moves are a big shift from the philosophy of the last...well 7 years really. Is Bennett/someone requiring moves and space before signing on? To be clear Bennett wouldn't be my top choice, but these moves feel familiar.

Undoubtedly gave his all for the Dragons , but also running on some very tired legs .
If he wishes to return home then the J.V. should allow him to do so .

But whomever they sign as his replacement had better play as wholeheartedly as Jimmy did . I for one will miss him , but time will wait for no man and it is now ringing the bell for him to go .

Best of luck Dimmy boy . :innocent:

Exactly they would want him there and out of isolation at least a few weeks prior to round 1 to train with the squad etc. Is a great bloke but in my opinion I’d rather blood a young Ivan Drago than persist with the old warhorse. Who knows by the end of the season he could really become a solid bench player heading into 21.

Agree Forbes and give Kerr longer minutes as well

I’m sure we’ll never know the true reasoning behind this request.

Whether it be, he was tapped on the shoulder, or was hanging around to get a assistant coaching position under Mary ((his mate) in 2021 and that is now history.
Or it could just be he’s missing the UK & his parents and genuinely seeks a return in light of the Coronavirus world turning upside down.

It maybe a combination of many things and I’m sure our club along with James on Foxsports will lace it with spin.
Love the way you think Coffs ! I would not rule this out ! All points to Maryville being shut down doesn't it.

Just let Graham go and throw in Lafai as part of the deal. Let Host or Blacker replace him. Do not buy more journeyman. Merrin could also be a prop.
Yes, this year is gone for us anyhow. No more Kufusi's and Canberra wash up's.Put the money saved back into the bank for a resigning, upgrade or new player for 2021 season.

Your baseless character assassination of Jimmy is appalling. You’ve based it on assumptions, speculation, and straight up lies.

This is abhorrent behaviour.
