Graham will be released immediately if a suitable replacement is found.

What position is JG playing lately?
Which player has an important 'meeting' next week and just happens to play the same position?

I said before the club is all in on pair of 5's, sometimes you get lucky right?

Brent Reed on MMM, insinuated the same.

"The excitement is Jack gets an opportunity to defend himself in court and he hasn't had that," McGregor said.

Good Lord.
Please Mary , STFU!
"Exciting ? " How is a criminal matter of this magnitude "exciting".
Fancy using the word excitement & court in the same sentence, especially in a case such as this.
The bloke shouldn’t be allowed to speak publicly.

Letting go of Graham and Luke is from my perspective a good sign. I see this as a sign of the club is ‘thinking‘, rather than the view of players ‘fleeing a sinking ship’.

Simms, Kerr, Merrin, Blacker etc... all have the power and petrol that Graham sadly now lack despite the passion. Similar story with Brittain and Hunt covering the ‘needed’ creative requirements at hooker.

When coaching changes alter the overall game plan and previous playing style, outcomes could look very different, very quickly.

Yes most definitely.

Mc:heavy_division_sign:3 slaughters logic, language & good sense.

So a word of advice

On Day 75

Keep
The Dull One
away from the microphones

It beggars belief
(like so many things about our once great Club ATM)
that The Gordons have thrown their lot in with such a universally acclaimed idiot

Where on earth could their lives have so tragically intersected FFS?

And Webby
flick us a copy of the 3 selectors’
preferred team lists

....like the newly transparent CEO you are.

I’d pay quids to see Flanno’s

PS
It’d be a terrible irony Tyson if you missed a title with the Knights this year

....maybe you should’ve left with this week’s mentally fuc/ked departures James, Isaac & Jason

...and thete’s a whole recovery ward of ex Dragons out there just starting to hit their straps

And dont’t worry about things,
as Mc I’ve-Done-You-Over has Lats & Marketo on standby
...so
.along with Milly’s dozen or so salivating-for-overs journeymen

....she’ll be sweet
once we get our yearly points against those ever-so-obliging Titans

Possm, I really love your enthusiasm and effort, that can’t be questioned. Ravalawa just signed a 3 year extension over the last 48hours so I think that boat has sailed.
Andrew Fifita from Cronulla: way out of shape, can barely move as his knee is shot to pieces and generally is an all round $hit cun*.
David Fifita: unless we’re paying north of 1.2 or 1.3 mil a season he isn’t stepping anywhere near our poorly run club.
Knowing our Jerk offs They will probably spend the “war chest” on Aiden Tolman and upgrade Aitken to a multi million $$ deal
Are you serious on the 3 years extension to Rav?? WTF!!!

Tell me, who do you believe is behind that great decision?

So many pressing decisions to be made and holes to be filled and we extend what will no doubt be a Canterbury Cup winger, or a prospective left centre that requires weeks if not months of training/coaching.

So based on what he said in his post match interview (play the season out at St Helens and come back to Australia) you wonder the reason why he’s leaving. Perhaps:
Tap on the Shoulder
Hates McCueball
Deal done where if he f**ks off now and there’s a boys club position for him next year.

Seriously with COVID, why the f**k would you be travelling to the UK at this time. Just makes no sense.

Graham always plays with his heart on his sleeve. He hasn't really been overly effective playing for us in terms of pure go forward but I've always liked his passion.

Having said that, it is evident when such a player would rather be anywhere but here, it makes me lament the loss of pride that comes with wearing the red v. This is a very sorry time in our history. I hope we can recover.

If we stick to the golden rule of 'like for like or better' when recruiting we won't go wrong. Of course, there is always an opportunity for bringing in players with potential but that class of player should be reserved for our young gun juniors who have proved themselves in Canterbury Cup e.g. Lomax, Saab and Blacker.

So right now we need to replace two marque forwards and a marque fullback, so:
  • Frizell replaced by D Fifita
  • Graham replaced by JDB or a marquee prop
  • Dufty replaced by a marquee fullback
I believe with a new top grade coach, we will only need 3 outside recruits for season 2021. We can use our current crop of young guns to fill all other vacancies. My top 17 for 2021 would be:

NRL Team:
1. New marquee fullback

2. Ramsey
3. Z Lomax
4. Williame
5. Saab
6. Sullivan
7. Clune

8. JDB or New marquee prop
9. Hunt
10. Vaughan
11. T Sims

12. D Fifita
13. McInnes

Bench:
14. Kerr
15. Merrin
16. Laurie
17. Fuimaono

Gone:
Graham, Frizell, Lafai, Aitken, K Sims, Sailor. We may lose a few more.

Canterbury Cup:
1. Schiller
2. Pereira
3. Ravalawa - let's train him up to be a centre
4. Feagai
5. Feagai
6. Dufty - played in the halves in his junior days
7. Norman - can help Dufty develop
8. Blacker
9. Brittain
10. Host
11. Ford
12. H Lomax
13. Lovodua

Bench
14. Young prop
15. Young prop
16. Young backrower
17. Sauni-Esau
