Nah, fook it lol.

Anyone remember when Slater got stuck into Nighty with 2 Storm players holding Jason ?

"If he's saying I headbutted him, why does he wait until two people were holding me to start throwing punches," he said. "His story's a bit dodgy. He should have been happy with the result of the judiciary. He didn't need to bring my reputation down. Who headbutts people, with everyone watching? You may as well throw a punch. I thought it was silly and unnecessary."

Nathan Brown didnt hold back.

I don't disagree and respect the man's passion and desire to still be playing at the top level for so long.
Unfortunately, after 7 years of absolute rubbish that has been fed to the fans, I am less tolerant now than I have ever been.
Maybe the focus on Graham as a player was just an extension of the general frustration felt by me and some other fans in general.
I believe all our fans would like to see a Team which is gritty and resilient.
We lose games by going down fighting to the end.
I can't cope with some of the capitulations that I have witnessed since 2010.
We want a Team that is going to compete and be in contention of winning a Grand Final.
We haven't even looked close to that for too long.
That is not a true reflection of our club and a sad indictment on the people in charge.
So I look at Graham as one of the 17 that represent our club every week. Nothing more and nothing less.
Last year he did very little to enhance his reputation and was undoubtedly part of the overall result that shamed us like never before.
Passion, career history, character are all great attributes but none of that has helped us during his short tenure at St. George.
Agree mate, the amount of shit burgers that have been shovelled down our throats after Bennett left by this club is unbelievable. To be honest when I was a young fella to see the disaster years of 1987 to 1990 was bad but 2012 to present makes 87-90 look like a walk in the park. We are all passionate for our team and we only want the very best but until that fool is moved on then we are drowning and no decent player is stepping foot in the club unless we pay huge :moneybag::moneybag::moneybag:

Slater was the darling of the media and got away with plenty.
If anyone deserves to be put on a pedestal for good character it is Jason Nightingale.
On and off the field, an absolute champion.
Softly spoken and always played with heart and passion.
Hated the way we farewelled his stellar playing career.
Last couple of seasons a number of posters "laid the boot in" saying he was slow and the tries he did score were fall over tries and so on.
Playing outside of Aitkin he was on a hiding to nothing but still copped plenty on this forum.
Interesting to compare Graham's time at St.George and all the respect he gleans with how Nightingale was treated.

Gypsy was and will always be a dragons legend. I’d even pick him to start in front of Rava. Come back Gypsy!!

NRL player joins medicinal cannabis company
By Lucy Battersby
In its efforts to commercialise cannabis as a treatment for concussion and traumatic brain injury, medicinal cannabis company Impression Healthcare has appointed former rugby league player James Graham to its advisory board.

Mr Graham will help Impression with ‘’the development of ‘real world’ aspects of the clinical program” for the medicine, be a public face for the company, and help Impression Health build a relationship and ‘’concussion solutions” with the Rugby League Players Association.

Impression also wants Mr Graham to help its plans to get the National Rugby League to use medicinal cannabis as concussion treatment at an elite level.

In March, Impression Healthcare appointed AFL player Liam Picken to its advisory board. And more recently it announced it was investigating a mixture of medicinal cannabis and hydroxychloroquine to treat Adult Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS) from COVID-19.

Shares are up 4.1 per cent to 5.1 cents in early trading today.

Thought they may make another play for Kasiano or Rulin Nutira....knowing McGregor he may even try to talk Luke Bailey into strapping on the boots....anything but blood a younger player.

That sums up our recruitment policy no wonder our club is a basket case
We already have a rich group of young players knocking on the door. That is where our future is.
Of course we should look at who is. available on the open market

James Graham joins Fox League as a Commentator/Contributor

James Graham from the St George Illawarra Dragons is part of the Player Advisory Group in 2020.

James Graham - Lock Forward - St George Illawarra Dragons

There are probably other things that he is also involved in - time to concentrate on 2020 and not 2021 - honestly I would say thanks mate - take a break, sit up in the box and give the young blokes a run.
