Like Storm, Sharks got an exemption and are using Hodkinson. Why bother forcing teams to name a squad and narrow it down if you'll allow them to change is still?

Its pretty easy to name 4 reserves that cover all injuries.

Ffs they dont need to play. You can prepick your extended bench for a whole year basically and only alter it if injuries force you to.

If I was the NRL it'd be an answer of "tough you have 21 players you can choose to cover your needs" unless there is some extraordinary circumstances.

If a centre went down Peachey, CHN or Yeo can cover it. Pretty easy to name a few players that cover all bases. Especially when you have versatile top 17 guys as jt is.

Maloney has improved a bit. Although 3 weeks in a row he has thrown shit passes behind runners. If he can hit our runners we score more tries. It should be a simple fix.

I was hoping he would do a Moylan vs Raiders tonight. His goalkicking is a handy backup .But he is yet to improve our attack.

It is timing really. Cleary passes well before the line. Maloney goes to the line then passes. That split second is where the outside guys are over running it. Will take time was better tonight

Definately a better performances. He looked better in attack, still plenty of room for improvement.

Maloney is playing better. He is starting to gel with the team - which was always going to take time and practice.

Did you also see how he took control of the team once Cleary was injured. We are really going to need that while Cleary is out. He took it by the scruff of the neck.

We are so lucky to have him in the current circumstances. He can also kick goals almost as well as Cleary.

If we lost Cleary and still had Moylan we’d be stuffed.

By then he will be playing origin, so we will have to wait for our late season run. If he misses origin and plays all 24 games therefore a 24 out of 10 he will be superman.

He kicked the ball dead on 2nd tackle this week and throws a lot of bad passes each week. Looked better once Cleary went off tbh.
