I expected much more butthurt than this. I'm surprised and disappointed that most of LU have been mature about it.

Put your house on the Broncs for the trophy next year. It's ours to lose if Roberts plays even half as good as he did this year.

I think overall the cap has worked well since inception of nrl.

In 18 seasons 11 different clubs have been premiers.

13 clubs have been in a GF. Only Titans, Raiders and Sharks haven't been in one although both sharks and Titans were only one game away.

Just about every club has had periods of dominance and weakness. Not many sports globally can boast such an even spread.

Not perfect by any means but could certainly be worse.

Good luck to the Broncos. There are only a handful of clubs that can claim to be disadvantaged.

At first I was ecstatic about winning the comp, notching up yet another finals win against the Broncos and handing them their first GF loss in the process. But then, the realisation set in and I got really bummed when I remembered that we still lost the war, so it was all for nothing.
