As I say, only an absolute imbecile believes he's signed anywhere for less money.
The post above is definitive proof.

Very good pick up late in the piece. A very different player to Hodges, but no better or worse, just different.

Feel for guys like Kahu who stated that one of the reasons he re-signed was because he wanted Hodges vacant spot. Not so vacant anymore. That's how it is though. You don't turn down Roberts because it might hurt someone's feelings.

Copley will be a great pick up for whatever club swoops in and gets him (as long as they play him at centre and keep him far from the wing).

And yes, the salary "cap" isn't fair or even. Everyone should know that by now.

For all his potential and as exciting as Roberts could turn out to be, at this stage IMO he is a worse player than Hodges. Hodges is simply one one the greatest centres of all time.

You're gonna draw some ire on this forum with that statement lol

In his prime Hodges is a far better player, but if you're looking at Roberts vs 2016 version of what Hodges would have been then it's a different story. They gain some with Roberts but also lose some things without Hodges. I don't think they're better or worse off, just different.

The people who care about Roberts' welfare after he finishes with footy will be happy he's gone to Benny . . . if Benny sticks around long enough

Roberts is an average footballer and even worse off the field, Funny how a bit of news hype suddenly improves a players ability... Might go alright on the wing for Bronco's if he can stay out of trouble.

I don't get the love for Bennett with loosexcannons.

He has a philosophy of " boys will be boys" which to me is a dangerous thing when handling dills like this.

The Bronco's have cut their fair share of players for discipline reasons so blokes do play up. Of course it does all depend on the number of first grade games they have played......ask Daaaaarius, Third Man and cutie.

The only persons welfare that Benny is concerned with is his own. He is a master manipulator of the media. Broncos players play up with the best of them but little gets out.

It's almost as if there's people who don't want to improve themselves, no matter how much good advice they're getting.

Of course they do and of course little gets out. One town team run by a massive media player in a city full of its own supporters, who would dob them in?

and by 'defensive' you mean 'just back away from the bloke with the ball', yeah?

f**k me it feels like I'm in crazy pills... Reed had Morgan stopped short of the line, Oates needed to stay on his winger. The one one one tackles on the edge and scrambling was the trademark of the Broncos defence all season, sometimes you need to back away from the attacking player to slide across. Deadset, Reed had a blinder in the grand final.

All the non-Bronco fans are deadset embarrassing themselves talking about Reed, especially those thinking Kahu is obviously better (looking at you HayneKlopter...). I suppose you didn't watch Kahu get schooled by Gagai against the Knights?
