not going to disagree. Sadly the NRL look at the publicity generated rather than the specifics of the event, when Carney pissed in his own mouth there was some statistic suggesting that x amount of the population had seen it (no idea where they got the figure). more recently with Pearce and Norman it was pointed out by Paul Kent i think that Pearce got dragged through the media because you could show his video on tv, you couldnt show normans vid.
now this roberts one, unless there's video of him going off at the barmaid or trying to fight the bouncer the NRL wont step in. Roberts will deny doing nothing wrong and nothing will happen, at leats not publically. internally the broncos might be fining him or having a word to him. I would be concerned about the roid muncher on the door choking people, cos if he got jimmy the jet down, what's he going to do to the average person out there?
also to point out that those dragons, Havili (?) and lafai were reinstated after initially being stood down by the dragons. apparently the RLPA argued they should be reinstated despite being charged. the whole thing is all over the place in dealing with off field incidents
Re. The dragons players iirc the RLPA argued that the club didn't follow due process or something like that.
