The whole warriors team was weak as puss. Once Bluey had undone all of Clearys work the team collapsed and vice versa here. Once the cancer of ME started to die off we started stringing together a few good performances and finished the year off strongly. There's no way you can say Brown went soft cause he signed with us

Uhh... yeah you could. You can pretty much pinpoint a switch from Brown playing quite well, to the article coming out that he's signed with Penrith, to a plethora of dreadful, rubbish performances. The contrast between pre-signing elsewhere and then post-signing elsewhere was enormous for Lewis.

I've seen a lot of players move on, but never seen such a drastic drop in form from that point on like that. At least I haven't seen it at the Warriors that I can recall.

All of the new recruits add depth and real competition for places. Coupled with some of the better players remaining with us from Windsor and one or two of the obvious standouts from the Toyota Cup we should at the very least have an improved season on what we had in 2012.

Does anyone think that having two specialist hookers in our 17 is a luxury we can't afford. Don't get me wrong , I think it's great that we have these two options, but surely we don't intend to keep it that way throughout the season. I see a greater need for an extra half/centre/utility type + 3 forwards on the bench.
I would hesistate to suggest Brown after his efforts in these positions with Warriors but surely this must come into play.
...or is an impact dummy half what we're after and therefore we go with both hookers? Any thoughts?

I tend to think in the past few years we've been best served with 2 props and 2 back rowers on the bench. The balance of our team is going to change a lot with Lewis gone and Flash gone. I think a lot will depend on who we replace them with. If it's Austin and Moylan I think we could dispense with the impact hooker. If we go with say Plum and Mansour perhaps we could use the impact of Seg coming off the bench or the creativity of a half.
We've long had the luxury of some pretty versatile players and this will continue with Whare, Brown, Coote and Moylan really being able to sort us out regardless of injuries.

I wouldn't have a set rule in play. If our backrow contains Brown & Smith given both are 80min players we only need 1 bench backrower so then an impact hooker will work. If Austin or Simpkins is there they can play in the 9 or a backrower.

say Segeyaro's on the bench. If we get an injury he can go in the halves and Coote to the back. So it have other uses. I agree Segeyaro should be our number 1. I can handle him off the bench for impact but if it's one. He should be the one.

Tonight we get a real good look at 2 of the recruits under presure with whare playing centers for maly and segeyaro at dummy half for the cowboys looking forward to the game

There is no reason we cant run two dummy halfs next year given our bench could a lot of guys who can play several spots if injury strikes during a game.It would give us spark out of the ruck all game instead of small minutes

I think regardless of whether we use a utility on the bench we should have two props on there. We always look so much better when this is the case. Most of our second rowers can play 80 minutes so theres no need to have 2/3 off them on the bench.

Agreed. Always 2 props. The rest depends on injuries form etc
