What a dud call to play Peach at 5/8 for half the year
We won 5 from 7 with Peachey at 6. The proof of the pudding is in the eating. Luai clearly was not considered ready.

I'd like to see him tried at fullback. We could really do with his footwork and ball skills. Dallin is going to have to understand the needs of the team and what is needed to win a premiership. What is not needed is a turnstile on either wing or wingers who can't finish. I know they did OK last night but they have been exposed against better opposition, like Manly.

I'd be tapping Jimmy in the shoulder and saying he not wanted for the 3rd year of his contract. Only slight chnace we have to keep Luai

and he was clearly more ready than Peach will EVER be to play in the halves

Everyone entitled to opinion. Im happy with Moses. He goes ok. Its about the pack
It's both, really, and Norman too. Radradra papered over a multitude of problems, which is why French rugby clubs are throwing massive euros at him.

Maloney isn't walking away from $850k a season with us unless he can get more elsewhere.

I certainly wouldn't in his position either.

The thing is, he's been playing in reserve grade all year, and hardly been noticed, even by the first grade coach. It was decided ages ago that he would play in this game and so he got a cameo at Newcastle some weeks back. Went largely unnoticed then, too. So last night his long awaited moment came and he killed it. Just like in the song "Lose Yourself" which could have been written for him last night.

So what happens now. For next week, unless Cleary is injured, I'd send him back to reserve grade, perhaps even as fullback. With the message that what we saw last night, we want to see again. We are playing the Sharks. He is not going to have the benefit of the forward domination he so enjoyed last night against the Sharks.

May played well too. His performance was a bit overshadowed, but he still impressed me. I'd give him another game next week for sure, giving Maloney a rest. We need one of our regular halves in this game at least, it would be pushing our luck to go in without a recognised goal kicker when we don't need to.

Luai had an absolute blinder, but we and he needs to stay grounded, his kicking game needs work, some of kicks didnt give out chasers enough time to pressure (wasting Waqa's ability), cleary has that on Luai, but as others have said, Luai can compliment Cleary.

not against giving him a game against Cronulla next week, but Cronulla's pack will likely dominate us next week so Luai wont have the time he had last night.... just dont start crucifying him next week if he's a passenger.

Eels need tp go for thisnkid and Henthrington. You cant keep them all and we cant develop none

You said yourself Hindy you can't develop players at parra. Luai and Hetherington need more development. If either go to Parra they won't fulfil their full potential.

The Penrith Panthers have issued a ‘hands off’ warning on boom rookie Jarome Luai after his stunning demolition of the Warriors last night.

Filling in for NSW Blues halfback Nathan Cleary, 21-year-old Luai stole the show in the Panthers' 36-4 rout, bagging 20 points from two tries and six goals.

A former Junior Kiwi captain, Luai is on contract to the Panthers until the end of next season.

But with Cleary blocking his pathway to a regular top grade spot, rival clubs are certain to make inquiries about Luai’s availability.

“Absolutely (we are looking to extend him),” Panthers boss Phil Gold told Wide World Of Sports.

“I’m confident Jarome is a long term NRL player. We have never doubted his ability.

“He can play halfback, five-eighth and fullback equally as well. He is on contract for 2019 and we have no plans to let him go.”

If there a link to the article Jane? Everything I have searched I found Luai was off contract at the end of 2018.
