I watch a lot of games and see a lot of inconsistences as well. No arguments there. However, I don't see any teams being 'favoured'. That is just bullshit.

For every time you point out an example of where Parra got a rough deal you are likely missing out on an example of where they got a good call. Likewise when you rush to point out an example of where the storm are 'favoured' you've probably missed an instance where they are shafted. That's fine though, its not your job to be impartial.

Maybe favoured isn't the term i should use. At the referees own admissions they watch tape etc. to gauge what to look for to penalise teams in following games.

If that's the case they are trained to look at what certain teams do consistently and over time they desensitise to what they are doing. That would explain the reason reason 2 identical tackles are treated differently between teams.

Shit teams like say Newcastle currently are most definitely penalised more harshly in games when they are playing say the Cowboys. In those games you can't tell me you are scratching your head at how tackles are interpreted differently between the 2 teams?

I am not suggesting there is cheating, or knowing bias but if you are going to get referees to study tape then you are going to inadvertently train them to look only for circumstances where they (teams) go above the level they are currently playing at.

And because we are completely shit consistently it will take us a long time to earn the right to not be penalised for tackles that other teams who have earned the right to be overlooked for their play.

It is still inconsistent overall if one team is consistently refereed one way and another a different way when the rules are still the rules. So if one team can bend the rules more than another based on their current state of play then that is inconsistent.

if the opposition strip the ball it = a Parra knock on

if the opposition drop the ball it = a Parramatta strip and penalty to the oposition
