Cronulla deserved the win (although you can certainly improve).

But those guys in the middle with the whistles...Diabolical.

I'm not calling for perfect consistency - as you say, it's impossible.

But why is Gallen allowed to question the ref, but Scott/Mannah not?

I can't believe it's the way they speak to the ref - Gallen whines as much as any other captain.

And the ref needs to understand that if a captain of a losing side approaches them, they will be frustrated; not allowing the captain to have a word when the opposition captain can just seems a little...Biased?

The referees have not cost us points the last two weeks, but I think it'd be swell if we could get the same standard of refereeing as other clubs.

And I'm not whinging - I'm frustrated.

Last week the Titans knocked on twice and both were called knock backs, last night we knocked back twice and threw a backwards pass and all were called as if they were propelled forward.

Those are the issues I have with the refereeing.

We got penalised early in the second half for laying around in the tackle and not 2 minutes later the Sharks were laying around as long if not longer on us and no penalty.

And their goal line defence was offside the whole second half and never conceded a penalty. It is frustrating and just the way it is but people coming on and denying that it happens is actually more frustrating.

There is a reason and it's related to a recent (2-3 years) rule change where the captain can only question the ref in certain situations. Just because we don't know those situations doesn't make it random or arbitrary.

The players would know, or at least the captains would. But in the heat of battle they probably forget or just don't care. Most whinging at the ref is intended to give their team a breather anyway, which was the point of the rule change.
