5500 test runs at 48, batting at no. 7? Averaged>40 against every test team except India. Many of those runs scored when we were 5 down for <180? I think he as consistent as any test No. 7 I can remember.

He has always been freakishly talented, but he is now more consistent and well rounded.

He was easily Parra's best player from 2010-2013 but it is too simplistic to say that his form is better now because he has better players around him. That is only part the reason.
