I've said to people for a long time now that Jarryd Hayne is the best all round player I have ever seen.
And he might be the best player you ever see.
Soak it up mate.
Hayne is a genius. The Adam Gilchrist of Rugby League.

I mean, the type of player that excites you every time they take the field, and they rarely disappoint.

I'll enjoy it for as long as I can!

I had to describe the game of rugby league to some family friends who live in Holland, and they asked me to describe the code's best player (as in, his style).

I said his name is Jarryd Hayne, and he is a mixture of a young Andrew Johns (because of his skill) and Brad Fittler (because of his vision and running). I think I nailed it.

Not to mention that Hayne defused several dangerous kicks with great ease, too.

A truly wonderful, magnificent, once-in-a-generation player.

I would throw in Johns, Fittler and either Kenny or Daley for his running game.

Yeah - they'll do, too.

I've never seen a guy who can throw such a good pass; kick a ball so well; run the ball with such power, finesse and speed; and defuse bombs and tackle like a forward.

He is a special, special talent.

Andrew Johns? Maybe not defuse bombs and not the outright speed.

If Jarryd Hayne went to Brazil with the socceroos, he'd be their best player. He's that good

The only thing holding back Jarryd Hayne is Jarryd Hayne himself.
Brett Kenny has always been my nomination for the most naturally talented eel ever, but Hayne is streets ahead of Bert as an all round player.
His one weakness has always ben consistency and application.....qualities he showed in spades in the glorious 2009 run , and which are showing right now.
This club will win a premiership so long as Jarryd Hayne is in the team

Hayne has always shone at origin level because he had played in for the most part a strong and competitive team, he has struggled at Parra because he has had no support whatsoever and coached by dimwits.

People think this season he is back in form, he has never been out of form having to carry numpties week in week out it has been hard to show his best.

This season he has back up with some sensible coaching he is showing he is the premier talent in RL, I am confident if Arthur can keep a decent team around him he will take us the promised land.

If he had been fullback in origin since at least 09 NSW may have won a series or two.

He has always been freakishly talented, but he is now more consistent and well rounded.

He was easily Parra's best player from 2010-2013 but it is too simplistic to say that his form is better now because he has better players around him. That is only part the reason.

His attitude has changed enormously over the last 12 months. He finally has some maturity and appears to want to knuckle down and fulfill his potential.

Dare I say it, he may actually be a leader now.

Well done Jarryd.

The frightening thing is that he can still improve. Like could said if he dummies and stepped in he wouldve been in for another try instead of throwing that hospital to tutor,,, n

He would have went close, he's a freak. Probably didn't want to look like a ball hog.
