It's now safe to say that Hayne is the greatest Eel of them all. Basically in a struggling Eels side for most of his career he has shown that he is the best player on the planet. In my mind, he has now surpassed the great Ray Price. I am so proud that he is ours.

History repeats. Hayne had his last Dally M year when we were trying to re-sign him in 2009. If his manager is smart he will drag this on a bit and get the NRL to supplement some of his salary. It should just happen automatically to the best players. Shouldn't have to play ducks and drakes to get it.
