Or that our salary cap is f**ked.
That’s harsh but I can see where you are coming from.Offer him $400k. 1 year with a 2nd year option in our favour. Take it or leave it. Id also tell him he will be playing on the wing.
Offer him $400,000 with an additional $400,000 if he can win another Dally M.
I remember that.I said the other day 500k on a two year deal if it doesn't like it he can take his services elsewhere.
Everyone fell over themselves loving him saying he wanted to play for us for only 500k last season. Bullshit! He earned plenty ontop of that from the titans and he does not want to play for just 500k
maybe he is worth a little more, but id be f**ked if i would offer him more than 600k .... he seems injury hit since his return to league - he is not worth the risk
I remember that.
No piss off merkin.I don’t.
@hineyrulz, would you mind saying it again so those is us who missed it the first time get the idea?
If this is the case then some incredibly stupid decisions have been made in the past. Ummm, never mind.Or that our salary cap is f**ked.
That's not going to happen. Billy Slater already has that sown up.Offer him $400,000 with an additional $400,000 if he can win another Dally M.
I don't mind offering him a bit more than last year, say 600-650(max). Whatever happens, it needs to be sorted out in the next few weeks....because the options to replace him will likely become fewer and f**keder as time goes on
Our club couldn't come up with this option (or similar) within 6 weeks after our season finished?Yep, an incentive-based contract would be ideal.
Base salary of around $500k, but bonuses if he plays a certain amount of games and hits certain kpi’s.
Of course he probably wouldn’t agree to it, but worth a try.
