Think Jodeci may have some idea that Maloney and a person in an "admin" role at the club have a very difficult relationship

We knocked back Maloney after his Melbourne stint and he signed with the Warriors.

$60,000 a year and match payments.

A certain individual said no.

But he does a fantastic job of booking the pool.

The club would struggle without him.

Both managed by Beavis
because the players are the managers' bitches and follow their orders?

saying someone won't sign with the club because their manager doesn't get along with someone at the club is seriously one of the dumbest reasons I've heard for a player not being signed.

I get footy players for the most part would struggle to read the alphabet but I find it hard to believe that any of their managers wouldn't do what they're instructed to do. a manager that can't put aside their personal issues with individuals is not just unprofessional but also a shit manager, that doesn't have the ability to do what's best for their client. only a complete idiot would allow someone like that to sort their stuff for them.

player says "jump" , manager jumps. not vice verca.

Um, Maloney hadn't exactly set the world on fire at that point in his career. Why would we have wanted him then?

Parramatta Eels seeking salary cap dispensation if Jarryd Hayne returns to the NRL

Parramatta is expected to be granted salary cap dispensation to accommodate Jarryd Hayne if he wanted to come back to the NRL in a bid to avoid a repeat of the situation that cost the club and the code Israel Folau.

While Hayne plans to give himself until next November to decide whether he has a future in NFL, Parramatta officials are set to meet with the NRL about their salary cap position if his bid to play American football didn't work out and he wanted to return for 2016.

After losing their biggest star, the Eels are in the market for a replacement - although they may pursue a centre or halfback rather than a fullback - and cannot afford to spend under the salary cap in case Hayne decides to come back.

However, they also believe they would have first right of refusal on his services if he was to resume his NRL career after granting the 26-year-old an immediate release from the final year of his contract to enable him to try to make it in the NFL.

South Sydney are thought to have a similar understanding with Sam Burgess if he were to return to the NRL after his stint with English rugby union club Bath.

Both clubs have struck problems trying to accommodate stars under their salary cap at short notice and Folau's bid to join the Eels after securing a release from his AFL contract with GWS Giants in 2012 ended in tears when he signed with the NSW Waratahs out of frustration and is now one of Australian rugby union's biggest stars. Greg Inglis considered a switch to AFL in 2010 when it appeared the NRL would block his move to Souths.
NRL officials have indicated they would not again risk losing a big star to a rival code and are prepared to work with clubs to ensure that doesn't happen.

Parramatta chief executive Scott Seward said he would speak to NRL boss Dave Smith about Hayne's situation in coming weeks and was confident of a positive outcome for the club.

"We will certainly be having that discussion that if it does come to fruition that he does come back how we facilitate that movement back into the game and the exact machinations of how that would happen," Seward said.

"It is something we are going to have to discuss in more detail with the NRL about how that would work. That is on the agenda for Dave and myself to have a chat about."

Meanwhile, Seward and other members of the Eels management team are expected to catch up with Hayne early next month in Los Angeles after a training camp for the club's players with the Seattle Seahawks.
"We want to keep that link with him and see how he is going, how it is progressing and if there is an way we can help him," Seward said.

The source for that belief and understanding seems to be Seward rather than the nrl.

I can't see any problems there.

Yeah he was.
He was the one who was constantly trying to take over the Decepticons and be their leader, and yet Megatron kept deciding to keep him around for some reason.

That just shows that Megatron was a strong leader. He didn't seem to win a lot, tho....hmmm. Maybe a strong leader isn't the be-all and end-all?

I could never understand how astrotrain was the same size as megatron when a walking robot, but when he transformed into a shuttle, the entire deceptacon army, including megatron, could fit inside.

I couldn't understand why the Dinobots were programmed to be morons. and I couldn't understand why none of them ever backed up their data. Optimus prime's death could have been avoided.

Couldn't have been that strong a leader - he didn't have a big face.

Speaking of big faces...

Also Megatron was the same size as Starscream, but then he transformed into a gun that Screamer held in his hand.

Seems odd that we know the split was not good but we are still going to apply for dispensation, we must be generous to other clubs.
