He will be back in the NRL by June 30 I reckon. Like many of our players who leave on a bad note he will end up with a premiership before we do. I fear he has wanted out for a while and the big clean out will leave Manly the only team with an opportunity to sign him. Hopoate will probably follow.

You think he would be fit enough after spending 6 months doing NFL training ?? He wouldnt be ready for it.

If he comes back to the NRL and it's not with Parra then that will make me sad (and a bit angry).
If he comes back to the NRL and signs with the Bulldogs I will be physically sick.

Well, I'd say prepare yourself to be sad, a bit angry or physically sick at some point in the future.

Sad and angry I can handle. I am an Eels fan, remember. I'm used to that feeling.

Physically sick is a different story.

pretty sure there's already a megatron in the nfl so that would work against his plan.
Yeah, I did read that. Just forgot.

I once ate a breakfast bar for lunch.

No merkin is going to dictate what I eat and when. F**k you, Uncle Toby's!!!
Agreed. I once had bacon and eggs for dinner. Tasted alright to me.

They already have Megatron in the NFL
Yep.

Most people would probably look at him like Starscream.
He's a traitor, but we will still take him back for some reason.
Was he one of those jet-fighters? The baddies were a lot cooler is all I really remember.

Jarryd Hayne will forever be in my eyes, the most freakishly talented player I've ever seen, and my favourite player of all time.

I'm still disappointed in some of the things he has said since leaving, but I'll get over it.

In a perfect world, I'd love for him to train in the NFL and come back to us a stronger, faster player

I agree he's freakishly talented. But I also think he was an inspirational leader, a massive draw-card for club membership, and the 'face' of Parramatta (just like Thornett was). Even the odd few who stated that he was 'an idol' rather than an inspiration, need look no further than the 2009 season. He inspired guys like Robson and Mortimer and Grothe to play out of their skins. The guy was more than just a freakishly talented player.

There's no straight sarcasm icon. There's the one with the eyes going from side to side, but that looks like sarcasm mixed with a bit of irony. And there's the eyes rolling one - but that's kind of more frustration and impatience mixed with only a little bit of sarcasm. I want a straight, plain old sarcasm icon so that I can reply properly to Jodeci's post above.
(In other words: how the f**k would you know?)

Think Jodeci may have some idea that Maloney and a person in an "admin" role at the club have a very difficult relationship
