Read somewhere that next ore-season game will feature a lot of the 2's and 3's to make their final case. these starters tonight will be rested. If Hayne can get some mins and have a big game, expect him to be in the 53.

If he gets cut... The Raiders will definitely pick him up... well... They would be one of the teams who will go after him.

No way he gets cut. There will be riots by SF fans if he does.

He could fit right in at Oakland though.......keep that door open.

Well let's see. First cuts are this week I believe

True. I'm trying to figure out where I read it to post it here. Maybe it meant all the starters would be rested next game at least. Something like that.

While he didn't have a standout game, the first two games he played were pretty amazing and above the expectations of many. Nothing to be embarrassed about too much though. He got taught a lesson when he was RB. But so did most of SF's team. Pretty dismal performance bar a few standouts in their team.

Mind you, he wasn't the only player to get hammered and even come up short of a yardage gain. This is all part of the learning curve for him. Here's hoping he makes the team becasue I'm sure he's got plenty of skills still to show.

I think Hunter could be in jeopardy of losing his roster spot based on today's performance

Tuesday us time is when rosters go from 90 to 75. Tuesday week they go from 75 to 53. Usually the first cuts are easy.

I found it interesting that they used him as a spot receiver a couple of times.

While I think he'll make it, I get the feeling they're trying everything they can for him to show that he is useful, other than just as a PR/KR.

Hope the 49ers don't suck that much in regular season, was boring waiting for Hayne.

They will. They have one of the worst sides in the comp this year, but Broncos also have arguably the best D. They'll struggle most of this year, and that'll play in Haynes favour, they know they won't be there in January, so may be happy to take a punt on a few players in the hope it pays off.

Tomsula on Jarryd Hayne: "I've seen what I need to see. I think we've done a great evaluation on him." Wanted to evaluate other returners.

I really hope he doesn't come to Oakland.
In the opposite...

Putting the NRL bias aside...

If you look at what he is... A PR/KR with a very safe pair of hands under pressure... And the potential to return it with interest... As well as a 3rd/4th string change of pace RB who's also an option as a receiver.

At the moment we have Trent Richardson and Roy Helu backing up Latavius Murray... Quite frankly if rather Haynes potential than T-Rich...

And we have TJ Carrie returning punts and kicks... Who's got dodgy hands... The best pair of hands in the squad is old man Woodson... And his old ass can't be returning punts... That's just sad...

Protecting Kaep is going to be there problem IMO...

Kaep already has his limitations as a QB... But not being able to protect him just emphasises these issues.
