Got up early to watch this to see if my "Hayne to score a TD at any stage of the season" bet would Coke good... :lol

Will they keep on giving Hayne and Harris equal game time or will we see the better performer given the lion's share in the 2nd half? Harris has certainly made more yards, although to me that has come down more to who has been on he field when a decent block has been made than a difference in skill between them

Haynes been solid, not sure if it was worth getting up at 5 to watch him though...

However I can now recite the trailer for The Revenant word for word

Tomsula to be fired after the game? Good news for Hayne if true but I suppose it may not matter if he wants to start fresh elsewhere.

I honestly think they don't wanna play him because if he blows up they look like idiots

Former NRL star Jarryd Hayne has revealed how two hits in his rookie
NFL season left him "rattled" for days.

Back in Sydney during the off-season, Hayne said he needed to
strengthen his neck in order to prepare for the bigger impact of the
American game.

"Obviously the endurance side of things is different but I got hit
twice head on and my head was rattled for a couple of days," he said.

"Definitely your neck has to get a lot stronger. It's pretty tough.
It's like having a helmet and running through a brick wall. If you do
that, you can make it in the NFL."

I have doubts over his move to Fiji Sevens as he has to be playing in a code for six months that is a signatory to Wada and its doping rules and the NFL is not a signatory.

WADA have the ability to grant exemptions to this rule.

I'm really surprised by this news, particularly the timing of it given how long he stuck with it.

The 49ers didn't do much to upgrade their RB stable in the offseason, he must've received a pretty frank assessment from the new coaching staff and decided to move on

Disappointing as I thought he could make it as a punt returner and catching passes out of the backfield

I'm gutted to hear this tbh

Wish he dug in & fought for a spot (which SF obviously told him he won't be getting). Takes a bit of the hype away when he was saying it's his dream.

Guess he figured he'd move on with his athletic career ticking away.

Still, it was a great achievement just to play a game, I'll never forget those big runs he made in the preseason.

In his last game against Detroit I thought he improved dramatically compared to his early season games. Was much more aware.
