Funny how some people here blame the media on one instance and then take their side when their Agenda suits them. Yes Gronk you're one of the merkins I'm referring to.

The blame is Spags. Kate McClymont's (SMH) role in this has not been questioned at all.
Raaaay is a knob, but we knew that anyway.
Nice spin away from your mate Spags, but fail.
But you're king of defelection / spin. You've been blaming the media for the last two months and then all of the sudden you jump on the media bandwagon when it suits. You're a hypocrite......."But but the media"
There is no such thing as non-registered TPAs from what I understand.
And the only thing the Storm did wrong was not inform the NRL.
It appears to be an attempt to cheat the cap
Because player managers are squealing cos their clients are not getting paid. Kate said Spags did these deals on hand shakes. No paperwork whatsoever.
hmmmm...................Kate said huh ?
No paperwork either ?
And people wonder why I am skeptical especially when Eels and sell more newspapers and clickbait than any other NRL team.
http://www.triplem.com.au/sydney/sp...nvolving-parramatta-eels-and-secret-payments/NRL will investigate allegations that undisclosed third party payments have been made to players at the Parramatta club.
Head of Integrity Nick Weeks said salary cap auditors will take up the matter, disclosed in the Sydney Morning Herald today, with the Parramatta club.
“The salary cap is one of the main reasons we have the closest sporting competition in Australia,” Mr Weeks said.
“We have already shown that we are prepared to take a hard line against breaches and these allegations will be investigated by the salary cap auditors.”
Mr Weeks said the recent salary cap penalties and conditions imposed on the Parramatta club would give the NRL enhanced access to player remuneration records.
“If these allegations are confirmed then the NRL will take appropriate action to ensure the integrity of the competition,” he said.
