forget about this year, it's done and dusted and we only have 1 space left in our squad, getting someone at short notice this year will be difficult as injuries kick in at other clubs.

I reckon we got a bit lucky with Walker but I suspect we'll be promoting within for our 30th spot.

I think $3m is very close to the mark for all those off contract , probably resign Sam for $300k tops and they have $2.7m for about 6 spots , no need to resign anyone else off contract as there barely first graders , moving on lane, matto and paulo would give you another $1.8 m roughly, unfortunately it will take a man of considerable experience to do that so we can expect more crap for another year when we have 15 players off contract and if we want to win a comp we'd only keep about 5 of them , stay strong friends and trust our incompetent recruitment team can do something that shocks us all

Isn’t that a major part of the issue, no foresight it appears and little real gravitas to get rep players and sort out the roster and cap later. Not only are ONeil and Rogers invisible , what planning did they undertake . No player apart from Lomax ( and he appears to be a BA signing) have we really gone for since 2021 that is at least an influential NRL player. FMD , mostly like rhis Year, a benchie, reserve graders from across the league and projects at that.

The dynamic duo will probably panic , and even stuff up the good fwds currently in Flegg, even Tuavati and Twidle aren’t signed for 2026, speed of execution isn’t their hallmark.

Good recruitment people sign players like the Raiders do, or build through their pathways ( ouch Roosters currently) and splash on rep players and leaders

Enough of what we have and been doing, it’s light years behind our competitors, blow R&R up and get some real heavy hitters and alpha males in there for a real change. That way , no more fluffy emails and self praise. The Board and dare I say Sarantinos , need to bite the bullet, sack their mates and MEGA ( make eels great again) . I think he has a good plan in place, and you would think with Moses, and Lomax back, that we would be more competitive.

We need to recruit our way out of this shit, can anyone really see us doing that with these passive dopes in charge. We need aggressive forward thinking people willing to take risks. That’s not going to happen with these current dopes in charge.

Matt Cameron, the Bern, Paul Bunn and Peter Sharp have all been mentioned. All massive step ups to what we have now.

Time for the club to grow up and get some adults in charge running the club.

If Benji on the back of a 3S was able to attract and retain his squad then I suspect with the right recruitment team Ryle$ will have similar opportunities seeing we have surplus funds in our cap.

I'd be shocked if Joffa and carty are still at the club next year..

unfortunatly Lane is contracted and no merkin, not even an ESL club will go near him so the best we can do with him is play him as a middle off the bench..

you may disagree with me here but I think TCT have been the only ones who have been scathing of the club in the last 6 months despite their measured approach.

that Talking Parra and parra podcast crew are a complete waste of time and offer nothing to the fans and the club.

If Joffa gets extended then we all may as well give it away.

Honestly the bloke doesnt impact games and has a losing stench wherever he goes.

His win rate since the start of 2020 is 23%

28 wins & 84 losses with 2 x wooden spoons at Brisbane & Tigers.
