Yeah merkins here were stoked with Ryles as an option. Let’s resurrect that f**ken thread.
Again you are arguing for the sake of it. Nobody knows where you stand, you just continually go against the majority to get a rise out of people.

You are a parasitic troll. You truly are f**ked up. Get some help, mate. Sincerely.

BA's fault 100% he didn't get the right staff around him to get our defence to a standard where we win a competition..

Ryles already has experienced staff with him plus peers he can ask for help or advice.

Experienced? Scott Wisemantel has coached mostly in union with a little bit in league. Sam Moa by Ryles' own admission is starting his coaching career, this is our defensive coach. Nathan Brown is experienced, 450 odd games coached across the NRL and SL is good. And Blair Mills like Wisemantel has had experience almost exclusively in union.

I like this set-up it's different, too often NRL clubs are too risk adverse. Sometimes you need to to take a risk. But this is not an experienced coaching set-up nor is it a coaching core that is guaranteed success like some seem to be expecting

Our defence was pitiful though because our completion rate dropped. To be truly competitive we need to offer more in attack and significantly reduce the errors.

Our defence has been pitiful for some time, our completion rate dropping just exposed how poor it is. No amount of improvement in attack will fix that, it'll just make it seem less poor

To be competitive we need to improve our defence, Attack will follow because it can free up if you can defend your errors.

True. I think Barrett just focused on attack. We regularly had 30 or 40 put on us.

Really

Dylan Brown and Will Penisini

Anyone else actually established themselves as first graders in 11 years.

Winning Ball and Matt's is all well and good but we have won countless and SFA players have gone onto make FG at Parramatta compared to Penrith.
Where we had room in first grade we brought them in. Where we didn’t they chased the money elsewhere. That’s how it’s supposed to work. It’s about having options, not keeping all your best juniors.
