Yes to Nick

And I don't to the 2nd (clearly, from what I posted). But the context you use it in seems to very often have been to argue that people are wrong for thinking we are a filthy rich club.

We are. It's pure stats.
And with the booming of Parra CBD I don't see that heading south anytime soon.

As you say, if we can't change the management, the least we can do is upgrade the coaching staff. Point well made.
How would you know if it was an upgrade? The only objective difference between the two is experience, where we have seen a massive downgrade.

It’s a good thing that our new coach didn’t think we are a ‘mid tier club’ with little resources. (Your words) or Ryles wouldn’t have even applied.

You’ve been again exposed as troll with a shit memory.
He admitted he wanted the St George job ffs, but held out for Melbourne FOR SOME REASON. I wonder what that reason is. Taking the Eels job isn't a sign of anything other than opportunity.

He turned down the Saints job.
Because he thought Bellamy was about to retire:
At a meeting at Sydney’s Star Casino 16 months ago, Melbourne chairman Matt Tripp convinced Jason Ryles he would be better off turning down the head coach’s job at St George Illawarra in favour of becoming the heir apparent to Craig Bellamy at the Storm.
“I got there and within a fortnight, I was like, ‘Wow, Craig’s not retiring’,” Ryles admits inside the Chinese restaurant at Parramatta Leagues Club earlier this week.
Watching Shane Flanagan rebuild the club he once represented with distinction only added to a nagging sense of what could have been had he chosen differently in that sliding doors moment.

Man United haven’t won anything major in decades yet are are still one of the largest clubs in the world. Second only to Real Madrid. We are the sleeping giants of the NRL and now have acquired a sponsor worth billions.

They might have a bigger reputation but there is a much wealthier club in Manchester these days. They are able to sign and retain the best players and coaches. What a terrible example you've come up with.

We are closer to the Storm than Man U are to Man City.
