There’s going to be a few mental breakdowns if/when Ryles uses those phrases

I asked chatgpt to come up with 10 different ways to say chase the collision without using chase or collision, this is what it come up with.

Here are ten alternatives without using "chase" or "collision":

Pursue the crash
Seek the impact
Follow the encounter
Track the clash
Hunt for the disruption
Investigate the crash
Go after the incident
Look for the contact
Search for the impact
Trace the event

I'm sure those same people are going to piss their pants when they finally realise this is the basis of every game plan in the NRL, except for maybe manly who seemed to go away from "the ruck" particularly early on in the year.

That's because we just had a horror season. The last two years followed a premiership window, where we lost a lot of players due to the salary cap. Have a look back at the year after 2018, another horror show. We recruited very well then too. Squad strength works in a cycle.
Agree on squad strength cycles. Kudos to BA for Lomax but outside of that signing I don’t think we would have seen the same intent and/or number of signings.
There’s a fresh breeze blowing through the place and I like it.
Let’s hope it translates on the field.

Yep the previous 2 years the breeze has been a shit stench of Brad Arthur farting up the joint for way too long.

Yep he got to a GF but really most still had doubts he was a coach that could get us to the promised land too much inconsistency and never addressed a major gap from Poor to Great performances in every season under him proved he wasn't quite a premiership winning coach.

In 2021 you can go from getting flogged by 50 one week to Manly & then beating a Melbourne Storm side on a 19 game winning streak 2 weeks later.

In 2022 losing to the winless tigers at home a fortnight after winning in Melbourne.

To getting flogged by 30 points against the Bulldogs running last and then smashing a star studded chooks side 5 days later.

Premiership winning teams don't have such a big gap between there best and worst.

I would argue during BA's time we probably had the biggest gap between what our worst was and what our best was in the competition and we saw that gap way too regularly.

Aren't you the.guy who said Tanginoa was the next Hindmarsh?

Can you do the same for "Hide Carty's bag?"

Brad Arthur, the coach of the Parramatta Eels, hid Jayden Campbell's bag as a playful prank during a team bonding exercise. It was meant to foster camaraderie and lighten the mood among players. Such antics are often used to build team spirit and create memorable moments.

Brad Arthur chose not to use a team bus for the grand final to encourage players to travel to the game in their own way, promoting individuality and personal comfort. This decision could also be seen as a strategy to minimize pressure and allow players to relax before the big match. It reflects a modern coaching approach that considers players' preferences and mental states leading into high-stakes games.

Brad Arthur's baldness is primarily due to genetics and age, as many men experience hair loss over time. Coaching at a high level in the NRL can also be stressful, potentially contributing to hair thinning or loss. His baldness is a natural part of his appearance and, like many individuals in similar situations, it's embraced as part of his identity.

BA & Nepotism on ChatGPT

Brad Arthur has faced criticism regarding nepotism, particularly related to the recruitment and retention of certain players who have connections to him. Some fans and commentators have raised concerns about whether his personal relationships may influence team selections or player acquisitions. This kind of discussion is common in sports, especially when a coach has familiar or close ties to players.

I'm sure it would've been the same. We might've even kept Talagi and Matt Arthur, who are both young talents.
There’s a fresh breeze blowing through the place and I like it.
Let’s hope it translates on the field.
It's very exciting.

Over the long term we are an average club that wins half its games. Without playing a style that leads to inconsistent results we might never have made the grand final or snuck into the top four. We might've just won half our games each year.

If you stick your head in a fire and your feet in a bucket of liquid nitrogen, on average you should feel ok!
I don’t know what that has to do with footy though. Apart from maybe heads of fire after we lose.
Edit: loose

I am excited. I’m just not sure we have the purchasing power to match the big boys if we go with a low risk recruitment strategy. We might just find ourselves a poor man’s Penrith, like the Dogs. They might’ve been better than us this year but it’s the first time since 2018.
