Does the first strike still apply if you end up charged and found guilty of possession in court?

There would be other clauses about bringing the game into disrepute etc

I know people who have been caught in possession who have got off with cautions and no criminal record (is that correct terminology)

Getting of with a caution would probably be OK for most people but I'm sure the NRL will come down hard on these guys unless they get found not guilty.

Oh yeah, I was commentating with regard to the law. What the NRL will do is somewhat different, unless there is a not guilty result.

One thing for sure is that this will take a lot longer than anyone had patience for.
