September 8, 2009
South Sydney chief executive Shane Richardson is investigating claims Rabbitohs coach Jason Taylor was attacked by one his players at the weekend.
The Nine Network on Monday night reported Taylor had been "punched and knocked-out" by a Rabbitohs forward.
A South Sydney spokesperson confirmed Richardson was investigating an incident that occurred on Sunday but no details were offered.
The Rabbitohs finished their playing commitments on Saturday night when they scored a last-minute try to down Cronulla 26-24 at Toyota Stadium.
The club spokesperson confirmed some players had gathered on Sunday to have a few drinks to mark the end of their season.
