I am wondering if someone can bring me up to speed with a couple things

a. Has JDB been stood down from training/playing and for how long?
b. At what point does he go to court?

I understand DRAG .SBW gets treated like a hero ,CANDICE well she's treated like shit .....happens a lot .
It does indeed. Are you watching the cricket OD? I think I might be in love with Pat Cummins atm. Had to leave Bar Beach early today due to a pesky shark hanging out. Came home and turned on the cricket. I was feeling gloom and doom an hour ago, but now I'm about to pop a cork ;)

No. Splinters has made factual errors about the allegations.

One of the most tedious things about the Internet is to have to correct people who have reading comprehension problems.

What I IN FACT said was "Assuming that XYZ..."

I wonder if you know the meaning of "Assuming that..."? No? Then I'll tell you. It posits a hypothetical situation. It doesn't make any claims at all about substantive, probative, or dispositive "facts".

Now, at the time I made the comment (last week?), another person responded to me while making this same error. I did not bother to correct it then because, you know, people with poor reading comprehension skills are everywhere on the internet and I can't spend all of my time cleaning up after them. Usually I just shrug and think, "let them wallow in ignorance" because they're not really my problem, right?

But here, I am correcting both you and the other commenter at the same time because it seems to me very efficient.

In conclusion, I'll just say this: please, learn to read.

Was it more to do with your context? I don't think anyone on this forum cares less about your spelling Xx

Williams was treated like a hero? I was unaware he served in the New Zealand Defence Force. Did he fight in Iraq, Afghanistan, or a separate operation. And where is his Victoria Cross citation?

Falcon-Warner treated like shit? Did she report this alleged crime to the New South Wales Police Force? What was the specific crime she alleged in her Victim Impact Statement? And how did the judicial system settle this matter?

The facts are: Each were treated incredibly favourably for not having a conviction recorded against them for an act of indecency.

‘Hero’ and ‘s**t shamed’. Cut it out.

Splinters, loved your post. You clearly got a new thesaurus for Xmas!

But here’s the problem, let’s look at what you actually wrote:

Assuming the truth of what we know of the accusations, the young lady was foolish in the extreme to bring two young men (basically strangers) home from a night out on the drink.

Now, the nature of the allegations are widely reported. So why are you making up shit about her bringing home two strangers?!

I chose my words carefully, you made factual errors about the allegations. If you don’t know the nature of the allegations go look them up.

Sorry Sir but you're a bit of a dickhead. Ho Hum. I hope you're enjoying the ice mate. I hate that shit, makes you nonsensical. Pity the ED who you arrive at next. Vito that because you may have a mental illness. Get treatment !
