One of the most tedious things about the Internet is to have to correct people who have reading comprehension problems.
What I IN FACT said was "Assuming that XYZ..."
I wonder if you know the meaning of "Assuming that..."? No? Then I'll tell you. It posits a hypothetical situation. It doesn't make any claims at all about substantive, probative, or dispositive "facts".
Now, at the time I made the comment (last week?), another person responded to me while making this same error. I did not bother to correct it then because, you know, people with poor reading comprehension skills are everywhere on the internet and I can't spend all of my time cleaning up after them. Usually I just shrug and think, "let them wallow in ignorance" because they're not really my problem, right?
But here, I am correcting both you and the other commenter at the same time because it seems to me very efficient.
In conclusion, I'll just say this: please, learn to read.
