The Melbourne clown wants him stood down. .IF it was Smith or Slater when they are playing would he say the same thing..

The way things are looking JDB will get paid but not play. . .... I agree with that philosophy.. ..I will just throw this out there:
Does everyone assume IF DeBelin plays football this year it will he in 1st grade?
Playing could simply mean running around in ISP. This way the club and NRL honour the obligation to allow the player to play football, it doesnt say they have to play 1st grade.
It will he interesting to hear opinions on this.
As I said just throwing this out there.
That ex detective should have told you if a victim has noticeable injuries & her record of events tells them how she got them, they can only act on her statement (as also the Judge), it is up to the lawyers & jury to ask the questions to find the truth of Guilty or Innocent. If he's guilty, put him away, You & others obviously have him guilty before he has his day in court to tell his side of the story.
Agree OD. I had a sneaky peak at Reddit comments yesterday. Suffice to say there are plenty of lynch mob comments on there, from members of our club and others teams. Due legal process is warranted, but in the meantime I do not wish to watch the booing that will inevitably take place if JBD takes to the field. It can only disrupt the team. The way things are looking JDB will get paid but not play. . .... I agree with that philosophy.. ..
You have a very good point there. Quite a sensible one too.I will just throw this out there:

I can guarantee you with such stress hanging over your head, it is impossible to maintain optimum physical condition & would struggle with weight not to mention mental issues.Agree OD. I would have thought quite the opposite TBH. Business as usual? I think you may have answered your own question in your first sentence. No disrespect intended by the way.I can guarantee you with such stress hanging over your head, it is impossible to maintain optimum physical condition & would struggle with weight not to mention mental issues.
I think his first option was to show it is business as usual, but that might be beyond ones mental state.
lol. Cop out.Well mate if you don't know the answer to that I'm not going to tell you ....
We don't know Crush. Widely reported on news sites that the cops saw him extremely intoxicated at approximately 2am. Let's just say that commands a capital S for stupidity. Wollongong is a pretty small place. I'll leave it at that.I would speculate that JDB must have an ace up his sleeve so to speak, something that will prove his innocence. This is the reason that the club is fully supportive of him and the reason why JDB wants to play on.
And who are the NRL employees?..not the players. At this stage I was only talking about players on an NRL contract who are in the top 30 of a club. Yes at this stage we need to keep a lid on such a scheme if only to keep cost down.
I am not in the insurance industry but I am the President of a charity and Vice President of another. Both charities have insurance policies to cover miss-behaviour of staff and volunteers. The variation in quotes from one insurance company to the other is wide ranging without any visible difference in cover. I am sure the NRL can find cover for such a scheme.

Had a laugh when I read the Telegraph poll where they want jdb stood down.
2000 untested respondants. And some folks are taking this as a serious poll.
Trial by media much?
The sad thing is that the ARL/NRL may actually cave in to this trial by media.
Jessica Halloran was on The Drum this week holding up the News Corp poll as 'evidence'. It turned into a circus. At one point the panel host had to remind them that the charges were alleged.Fair call, however, I think its fair to assume the media / social media scrutiny won't go away anytime soon. I have posted my opinion on why JDB should be stepped down on full pay. If anything, this onslaught now by the likes of the Telecrap and others can only serve as an additional distraction to all involved, and the best remedy as at now is to announce that Jack wont be playing until the matter is determined.

Meanwhile, the AFL hush money paid to sexual assault victims goes largely unreported. Look up Liz Ellis's condemnation of this.
We should never have trial by media.
So we should accept it? I'm not having a go at anyone, just asking the question. Thus my post... I am not in disagreement about trial by media, quite the opposite. just pointing out that sadly, this is the reality.
