Agreed on all counts. Gallant was the most natural fullback we've had since Hodgo left. Hodgo stopped supporting when we played that farkwit Morris and we needed Hodgo for his ball-playing ability. And Moltzen just isn't a fullback - terrible positionally, lacks confidence under the high ball, doesn't attack the ball on his kick returns and is a woeful support player and last line of defence.It's the fullback. Gallant did plenty of supporting when he was in FG. Hodgo used to support and stopped towards the end - before going back to it at Hudds.
Moltzen is alright at it, but doesn't seem to be able to read the play. His bursts in the middle are most often set plays.
I still think that we're coached to not off-load - I remember Galloway's early games for us and he off-loaded seemingly every other run, something that he just doesn't do anymore with any regularity.
