Is KK's kicking game much better than Robson's? I remember it being patchy at best (better short kicking game if I recall, though).

Mortimer seems the more naturally gifted and at his age will probably be much easier to improve with training. That kid could be anything. We have to be careful that he isn't overly burden with the pressure of expectation, though.

i'll be surprised if Robson sees out the 2 years of his contract. seems to me he is insurance for the young guys and might have a payday in ESL if the young guys pay off.

6. Keating, K
7. Mortimer
9. Keating, M
14. Robson or Mitchell

Not sure if KK is the organising halfback in the mould of Robson, so I like the idea of him playing 6 as well.

Something no one has mentioned yet.....

6. Tahu

???

Played a bit of inside centre in rugby and spoke about how he had developed his skills. i.e left to right passing and kicking as a result.

Surprise to me that Kingston is going to the Panthers. I have it on good authority that the Raiders were close to signing him...

Obviously not as good an authority as you thought ;-)

Nah, it was VERY good. Has he put pen to paper with Panthers yet?

His manager is Probably trying to screw more money. He is a GF experienced player and he had a decent GF game too.

Good on Robbo for finally getting a 2 year deal, still would prefer KK and Morts as our starting havles for next year.

i would guess they have only signed him as a back up on the cheap. morts will be 7 kk will be 6.Robson should have traken the offer from england if there really was one. No way will he start as a half,he has no half or 5/8 intelligence in him whatsoever. He is a poor mans G Ogrady as a lock..Ando would have only agreed to sign him as back up.

Brilliant news,

We now have 3 quality and reliable 6/7s. 9 is solid, 1 is magic, great 8 and 10, experienced and quick 2 and 5 and very good 3 and 4, not to mention 11, 12 and 13.

We are going to have a very strong season from the very start next year...

Let's enjoy the ride.

I'm happy to have him at the club, he's a much better choice than what was on the market.

Robson had a great game in semi and an average one in grand final....
Id give him to rnd 10...The thing is with the team we have we cant afford a expensive halfback.See robson doesnt control the game which is what a halfback should do but with this team and players like hayne and mateo a halfback that did may take away from there input so perhaps he plays the role that suits them

I like Jeff Robson but I think we are paying good money for a Wenty player.
Where do we put all these halfbacks ??

The one man everyone is forgetting is TOM HUMBLE !!!!!
Sit down and thiink about that name for a while.
Tom is the real deal.

I believe that Tom Humble will be our 5/8 for next year with Morts at halfback.
KK will be at 14.
That leaves Robbo as a good Wenty player.
