Agreed, "Western" is what you call a cowboy movie, west coast bears, west coast reds, west coast pirates, sounds 1000 times better

it simply doesnt say where the team comes from. if we wanna be taken seriously outside australia our teams need to have somewhat of a location there.
like ive mentioned before, when Northern Pride came down for the state superbowl, people were going Northern what? it works in local town comps, but f**k it off when it comes to state/national level.

Pirates still exist. They've just been unable to be a team these past few covid years.
I have a feeling there may be a re-brand in the works, but I don't know anything for sure.
