I could be wrong but I believe that wasnt the only time the Rams wore the yellow jumper I think they also had to wear one against Norths.

Perhaps. Would love to see more photos.
Need to get some 1998 magazines ey, 20 teams, great jerseys.

Also another jersey rarely seen is the 1998 cowboys. ;)

Rams actually had another jersey as well. I remember Mick Oconnor (CEO) unveiling it for the 1999 season, which they never ended up playing in. Was a vee design, picture of it probably doesn't exist.

With Brisbane Brothers making a bid to join the NRL could we see black and white stripes on a NRL jersey?

I'm sure I posted that name/idea in an Brisbane expansion topic 1 1/2 - 2 years ago. Was always a no brainer instant fan base australia wide.

I'm surprised they didn't have to change their names? I know Western Reds had to change to Perth Reds, did all the other clubs change their name in someway?

Pretty sure they were known as Super League Broncos and such.

I was only 10 at the time and followed the Reds in that comp.

The super league badge is wrong. One too many yellow stripes, collar is the wrong colour.
Where is the jersey from?

Raglan sleeves, sponsor logos, V too deep, stripes too thick...

You mean black... white and silver. I'm lucky enough to own the 89 version which I picked up off UK eBay earlier this year for about $60 delivered.

1988 version:

Yeah..WTF? was I thinking?

Anyway...I got an 88 of Ebay too. And it's in good nick. But wouldn't mind a nice new clean one.

Still need to get a 1994-95 Seagulls one too - the old Bears 70's style one with TOOHEYS sponsor.

The 89 is shitter than the 88?

Isn't the 89 jersey one of those Peerless "supporters" jersey and the 88 is the genuine article? I remember having one of the Peerless Broncos jerseys back in the day, and like modern supporters jerseys it wasn't as good. The worst thing to me was that it didn't have a collar.
