The players jerseys had the Telstra Cup logo on them bout halfway through the season. Pretty sure the Rams had their logo on their jerseys but that's about it

I remember them not having the Rams logo in 1997. Did they add it midseason?

Yeah checked my Super League mags and the Rams did have their logo in 97. They didn't have the Telstra Cup logo though cause it was in the same spot as their logo. Not sure when they added it but guessing was midseason

The Rams and Mariners are the only clubs that had individual logos, not including the coloured S logos obviously. The original Broncos, Raiders etc logos were owned by the ARL. They thought about renaming the teams along similar lines, Vikings for the Raiders, Roos for the Reds but they had done enough stupid things and Ribot was on his lunch break.

This Titans jersey is a lot better than their usual thing. Feels less cluttered and messy.

I'm not sure if the rams even had it until the Telstra logo came, but I do definitely know they had it in round 1 against the broncos-
No idea why, the whole idea of SL was to have clean jerseys like ye NBA, MLB etc and the rams only team with a jersey logo (perhaps had it for rd 1 then ripped it off??!!)

Same could be said about the Mariners and Eels.

Just on the logos Im pretty sure all teams logo's were owned by the ARL, except for Hunter and Adelaide which were established by Super League.

The ARL did own the names, i think we were officially the 'super league cowboys' not north queensland cowboys. It was all a play on words from memory.

Woh, I stumbled across this 1998NRL pre season shot of the rams teams (not sure if any other teams had jerseys made up like this) and the NRL logo is in the centre of the jersey!!

I thought oh yeah, wierd, then this came up

From a trial game against manly- the logo in the middle again! Im very keen to know if manlys was too, imagine if we stayed with that.... Common sense must of prevailed before round 1.

Also how good was their last minute clash jersey when they played Newcastle

I could be wrong but I believe that wasnt the only time the Rams wore the yellow jumper I think they also had to wear one against Norths.

I'd assume that was because they got photographed in SL jerseys and just plastered the NRL logo over the top to cover it up.

Well no because the rams logo was removed, then later the telstra logo added.
