I like jerseys and logos that represent an area such as this. This should be a priorty for new clubs. The gold coast team becoming the Titans for instance, holds no meaning in that area.

At least they picked colours that make you think of the beach. Ideally they'd have called themselves the Dolphins, but the Redcliffe Dolphins had a problem with that.

It's for the best that they didn't go with Stingrays/Stingers/Rays though after Steve Irwins death in 2006. It did make me think of this picture though

I'd buy more oddities like this if I had the disposable income.

The crazy Super League designs are what got me making designs in paint as a kid, in retrospective, most of them looked like shit.

The red isn't as vibrant in CMYK, not a lot you can do about it.
