I remember reading at the time that the design of the 99 jersey tried to incorporate elements of the "classic" Broncos jersey and the 97-98. I assume the arrows are the 97-98 bit.

That was a personal favourite, the 99-01 jersey. Very clean lines, and initially no sponsor. I have a very worn out home jersey from then.

To waste more bandwidth, here's our home jerseys:

Even though I am not a fan of this year's model, we have been fairly consistent since 2001: predominantly maroon with gold side, and now triangle.

In fact, sad as it is, I think the vast majority of jerseys have gotten progressively worse over the past 20 years. A few clubs are the exception, and a few one-off jerseys from others buck the trend here and there... but still.
