As a Souths fan, and a jersey collector, my fave still has to be the #23 Illawarra Steelers one I got off the club at the end of 1998. The lady at Steelers was pretty much in tears they had merged and I was trying to get a Steelers NRL jersey before they disappeared. She said someone had played in it and said I could have it.

Was great to see the Cutters in the similar scarlet jersey vs NZ in the NSW Cup on Fox the other week too.

OK it's Roosters but that's not the point.

It's 2009/10 Roosters away that Morley never played in. Surely if you're going to pay respect to a players from his time at each club you'd get the jersey right for when he played there.

The pic posted above would have worked so much better as it's nearly a straight swap of red and blue from the GB jersey.

Heard from a very reliable source that the 2014 penrith panthers heritage jersey for this year will be a replica of the 2003 black jersey worn in the grand final and not the brown and white originally teased. Let's hope it's true.

I think you're right. They never had the stripes on the sleeve. I was just basing it on this 3/4 sleeve one they had for sale. Probably one of the last jerseys to be made win cotton.
