I would love to have one of those now. I reckon they look great. You never see the on ebay or anyone wearing them. Did they actually sell them?...or maybe nobody bought them.

It kind of reminds me of the U20's NSW Jersey. It would be awesome if they used the 1997 Jersey for the U20's

They did, and I have seen them on ebay, but very rarely and very expensive. Just like the 1994 Emus jersey

I just like that they changed the jerseys for the U20s teams...

They kept the core image of blue and maroon for each state, but they also kept top level Origin jerseys in their own class.

Definitely agree. Just like the Junior Kangaroos playing in an inverse of the Emus jersey (or was that Aus Schoolboys? Are they one and the same?)

Id like to see this implemented all the way across the NRL...

Make the first grade jerseys unique to the top squad then use a different one for the rest of their junior system. (Under 14s all the way up to reserve grade/state cup)

In doing this, if a player joins a club at 14 and plays his entire career for the club, he will always play in those colours and always with that badge on his heart, but the huge step in moving up from reserves to the top grade will be represented visually in the player running out in that jumper for the first time ever....

Unsurprisingly - as it means more jerseys to flog - The Warriors have partially implemented this at Holden Cup, NSW Cup and NRL level. It's quite cool in practice and I agree with your stance.

Now if only they would cease releasing 1,000 other jerseys every year.

Sorry my reply was actually regarding gz's text, ie. That the 1997 jerseys are the worst of all time, not the u/20s, although I can see how it looked like I was talking about the 20's

The Broncos seriously need to re-introduce some white into their jerseys. Look how good some of the old Broncos jerseys looked in the background. My personal favourites are the two on the far left. They need to go back to these and stick with them forever like Roosters, Saints and Souths do. It really is a modern day classical design. Oh and they need to change the beetroot/brown back to maroon. Look at the contrast with the jerseys in the back. Even the logo maroon is different to the jersey.

Two things that are missing from Broncos jerseys for over a decade. Is a proper shade of maroon and white. It needs white. Well done for the mock ups.
