I made the maroon proper maroon and added some stripes:

Mate, that looks great. Would love to see this done horizontally, like the old jerseys, and with a white collar as well.

I agree that the current maroon is too dark and it needs white. I also think the yellow is wrong - it is almost orange compared to the original colour.

I tried to stay as true to the original as possible thats why I have done the NRMA in white not maroon, even tough maroon would look better

yeahs thats gazf

the broncos shit me.
they should wear there proper jersey from when they used to boss the comp but no they have a f**king gradient...

they should wear the one from the 90's as home and away and the 97 superleague one as an alternate. they sure won alot of games in that jersey

The SL one should be burnt in King George Square prior to every season in remembrance of the total stuff-up that Messrs. Bennett, Ribot et al made. As for the GAZF jersey, fantastic, the original stripes were too low and in Alfie's case were lost when they tucked into his shorts because he was so vertically challenged.

The problem wasn't the fact they were too low but rather there were too many stripes.
IMO GAZF's stripes are too high. The more block colouring across the chest the better the NRL and Club Logos look (case in point: Parra and Cowboys jerseys this year..both logos are camouflaged).

More importantly, having more yellow across the chest also balances the entire kit as both the shorts and the bottom half of the jersey are maroon.

Agreed, I'm a fan of a lot of GAZF work but not that Broncos one.

BE YOU TEE FULL !

Got the colours just right. Should be our jersey permanently. Wouldn't clash with anyone either so they can get rid of needing an alternate as well.

Great Work.

Would love to see these jerseys again!

Ahh the bad old days. Super League really shot themselves in the foot by including NZ in a "tri-series" concept. I remember going to the SFS to watch the NSW v QLD match (they were giving free tickets away) and there was a crowd of only 20 000 with absolutely no atmosphere. I remember sitting there chatting to my friends while the football was being played in the background (like what you would do if you're watching reserve grade at a ground).

In saying that the final was a cracker with the scores levelled (14 all if I remember correctly) after two lots of extra time. It took a Noel Goldthorpe field goal to win NSW the series.

They should have just done a NSW v QLD 3 match series and it would hold more credibility now 17 years later.

NZ were robbed of playing in the final by a very controversial decision from memory, in fact I would go so far as to say it was straight out rigged.

If it wasn't Origin, which it wasn't, than the inclusion of NZ was a good "twist" for mine.

The crowds for the actual "Origin" in 97 were well down also. The game in Melbourne was played in front of about 25K, and the others in Brisbane and Sydney were not much better.

Frankly that QLD jersey was shitful.
