It basically is, most leopards, pumas or jaguars if they are black are called panthers, its very racistYeah, I understand Penrith had an issue with the puma emblem being too close to a panther.

That shade of silver could easily fill in where white usually does on alternate jerseys.
Yeah they've got to do it so there's no point whinging about it.They always intentionally make retro jerseys about 90-95% accurate so that there's a clear difference to the original jersey. Seems some people have 'aged up' 100% accurate retros in the past and flogged them online as originals and gotten a lot more money than they should.
It's those bad apples that spoil it for the rest of us...

Genuinely my first thoughts when I saw that Cowboys World Sevens retro jersey. I loved that Knights jersey as a young fella, and to this day wish I'd've bought one at the time. Unfortunately for me, $80 was a lot of money at the time for this 15yr old...
