I must visit this place called Canberra, a few years ago we had the great Jason Bulgarelli order drugs to the front reception of his football club and now this.

What's in the air down there?

worse.
definitely

FTR, ice ice could be only the money re: a mate stumbling across this and joking around saying it was him, given the resemblance

There's a certain player who does this to Joel on Facebook a lot so I wouldn't be that surprised actually.

would be interesting to find out how his teammate "stumbled" across the picture, if that is the case, lol.

Seen the pic. Disgusting. Maybe he can say he was too drunk to give consent and the dog took advantage? But in all seriousness, WTF is wrong with some people. You're a rich footballer, you can afford a high class escort...and you spend your time getting busy with a dog (and a literal dog, not just an ugly person).

lol I don't think he did it for sexual gratification... still a dirty bastard though.

yea i notice his FB gets hacked regularly. Seems like the raiders boys spend a lot of time taking the piss and having a laugh, sometimes a crude one with each other

this would be going too far but im starting to think thats the likely scenario

as for:

i dont even want to know!

Gee the game is going from strength to strength. Do we need a code of conduct on what species a player can root now?

Canberra Raiders are investigating an alleged major incident involving Joel Monaghan during the club's Mad Monday celebrations.

"It's very disappointing; he appears to have been subjected to a bit of tomfoolery by some teammates," said Monaghan's manager, Jim Banaghan.

"One of his teammates has taken a picture of it and it's been passed around.

"I believe everyone involved is disappointed in what they have done.
"I'm working with [Raiders CEO] Don Furner to get to the bottom of it all."
Raiders chief executive Don Furner held a press conference in Canberra on Thursday to address allegations of a photograph of a Canberra player in a compromising position with a dog.
The NRL has launched an investigation into the incident.
Furner said that he would be "dumbfounded " and "appalled" if the image were proven to be true - but he stressed that he was yet to see the photo personally.
The photo was posted on Twitter by a Melbourne radio station, but it has since been removed.

''If he did it, it is something he will live with for the rest of his life," Furner said.
'We don’t know whether it's authentic but I am as appalled as everyone else.
"If he did do it, I don't know why he would do it."
The Raiders are continuing to investigate the allegations.
