Reddy can play anywhere in the backline and is a handy squad player but he's never gonna win you too many games imo

With the salary cap there are definitely going to be players that are handy and can do the job, but no world beaters.

Thing is, if they are on overs then you don't want them. If they are on unders, you will probably keep them.

You only pay overs for the spots that you are desperate for, and for players that you think will add something extra. Reddy doesn't fit the bill, so if he goes then he goes.

Apparently he has been talking about leaving since last year.

If this is true - IF - he should be shown the door pronto without an offer.

This kind of behaviour is a plague and brings everyone down with it.

Maybe his dad is on the outer with the new coaching staff - we did bring in that bloke from Brissy right? - and this is affecting Joel? Wouldn't be the first time that a player is affected by what happens to those close to him in the administration.

The Eels have hardly been successful after the ousting of Fitzy...., and the recruitment of players is hardly a 'high point' of the new regime...
One good thing, Ray Price doesn't get too many mentions in the press bagging out the Club...He is the leader of the cheer squad now for 'Spag, Ozzie and the Mook'....
