The Board meet few months or so and they approve members in that, your application will just wait until the next one comes around.

The new board of directors for the Football Club have their first meeting for 2009 next Monday night, the 19th January.

Hellsy what I meant, some sort of acknowledgement that the application has been recieved and will be put to the next board meeting...or is a board meeting needed to get a acknowledgement. :roll:

when sending your form and cheque in the understanding is that you wait for the next board meeting to hear back, problem was you happened to be one of 120 people who applied around AGM time, where the next board meeting was not until January...

Surely it would be good PR for the club to have a standard letter that could acknowledge receipt of the application, and informing the applicant when the application would be looked at.
Can't be that hard.

its a bit sh*tty to have no idea what's going on - but I can also see that its maybe a bit much to expect them to send out a "hey we got your application" letter .... I don't think they have a large number of staff

Don't forget , they're only just getting into the electronic age... with "online" renewal of season tickets that actually turns out to be a manual process anyway :lol:
