Well I think that nobody knows what the Board or the new CEO will do. The dynamics have changed with the sale of the Illawarra shares to WIN. Yes win will ensure that rugby league in the Illawarra will be protected and be part of the future development of SGI. But now it will no longer be a case of Illawarra v St George it will be a case of business working with football to do the best for SGI on and off the field.

At least I hope this is the case.

I come to this site for a read on the team I love... But everything just seems to turn into a Mary bashing thread. You guys really are the stain on this club at the moment. Its pathetic

These days its essential that the back three all have size, speed and physicality. They get the team moving forward and must be able to take meters from kicks, twenty meter taps and hit outs to give the forwards a rest. Last night Ferguson, Tupou and Tedesco got the roosters sets starting in great field position.

This is what we need more than the flashy stuff from our back three. Based on this I can understand looking at Ravalawa but not both him and Pearson. I would like to see a top flight winger (like Oates, Rapana) and a big fast physical fullback (Cotrick perhaps) and another big young prop (Hetherington maybe) who has already been blooded in first grade or move Frizzell to the front row and look at someone like Pangai Jr or Kamikamica to replace him in the second row.

Ferguson is a great player at his price. He’ll be a huge loss but they’ll have the English bloke who’s very good.

I'd say that if Mary was replace with a top line coach, this would change. It is only this way now because we have had to put up with this clown for years and it is now time for a change.

How is it that we can't afford a B Morris or Hall in our squad until one or two of our juniors come through and yet the Rooster with all their stars can?

Another scalp for Millward to hang on his belt along with the Fijian sensation, Lattimore and Korbin Sims.
We are just so far ahead of everyone else in getting set up for season 2019.
Now all we need is Mc Fookknuckle to get a 2 year extension and father Christmas has arrived early in Dragon land.
FMD we just watched how a professional club lands a premiership by knowing what it is actually missing to get the job done and we have people already talking up mediocre signings.
Remember when we were supposedly after Cronk and people said how he wouldn't be missed by Melbourne and that he was the smallest part of the big 3 and roosters were crazy well they all got that wrong.
Get me some SOO or international standard players to talk about rather than this crap.

Yep, Nightingale was an international right winger so lets sign an international right wing. Ah Mau was an international prop so let's sign an international prop. What we do about our centres and fullback remains to be seen.

AJ Brimson is the fullback we need. He is still off contract, and only one year in NRL he could be signed easily with a decent offer. I reckon a million for 3 years would get him. Titans couldn't match an offer like that. This kid has Tedesco written all over him, and still only 19 years old. His attack and defence power shits all over Duftys.

So what are we waiting for? Sign Brimson and put him on the right wing first up; Lomax will feed him plenty of ball to do his stuff. If Dufty has not sorted out his problems, then send him bak to ISP.

Arrow is a quality prop, young and hard running, he is just the player we need to complete our prop rotation.

So get it done Millward, quickly before others grab these guys.

Not quite sure how you come to this conclusion. Given they've got a new halves pairing with an orgin and international alongside a rookie half that got them to the final, I'd say they haven't skipped a beat. I'd say this part of the prediction was spot on.
