Falou shot the idea down. He said in an interview that he had discussed the situation with his church minister and they agreed that by staying in Australia and playing in the NRL he could use his profile as a means of "spreading the faith".

read that as " the mormon church gets a much bigger cut of his income if the stays in the nrl "

Good luck to him. Biker Dragon I am amused to know where you found this information on hem killing Free settlers considering Utah was settled by the church when others did not as it is the fourth driest state in the US and had lttle to make it attractive for grazing and farming.
The church does not have paid members like priests and in fact gives millions each year to a variety of charities around the world including other churches to help disadvantaged people.
It is his life, his decision why make accusations on which you cannot prove.
Funny how some condemn him for leading a clean lifestyle and if he drank and carried on you would belittle him for that.
What do people want from him.

I think its the dumbest idea ive ever heard. I am not religious, far from it so i guess that is why. Here is an idea, if your going to piss your talent away, why not do something that helps people instead? Rather than being a f**king salesman for the silliest religion on the planet.

He's helping 15/16th of the NRL!

Gotta applaud him :clap::clap:

What you won't see is him pissing off to England or Yawnion because his league earnings are piss poor and he has to do the right thing by his family.......

He'll come back, resume his career, be a model on and off the field, retire gracefully.

Besides, he could do it SBW's way. Do his 2 years in weekly lots every second week, blame his shoulder, and worship Mundine's knob.

My old computer programming tutor was a mormon who had just completed 2 years of missionary work in the States. He said he went to some fierce hoods in Chicago (which was the murder capital in the states at the time), and some gang members thought he and his partner were "Five O" and his mate got clobbered over the head with a bottle. You gotta be careful walking round the hood with a suit on.

Apparently, God let his only son get killed in the most horrendous way possible. Must be a Manly supporter.

If Gods a Manly supporter (and he probably is) then the chances of the Bears ever getting a gig on the central coast are looking pretty f*cking slim.

Thank the Lord!!!!!!!!!
