Let's be real. Anyone who even agrees with penalties for shoulder charges is a pansy
Yeah if NRL players don't want to destroy their brain for our enjoyment, they should go and play some pansy sport like soccer

Milne deserved 12 weeks so should consider himself lucky.
Not sure how that doesn’t get a week. That was a reckless shoulder charge.
NRL MRC and Judiciary giving everyone a good example of how useless they are this finals.
I wasn't surprised to see Milne get sent off for a tackle with a swinging up where he almost jumps to make the hit. He did the same in the first week of finals, got sin binned, but somehow got away with a fine. It's almost like players don't actually take heed of fines.
Kikau has thrown how many shoulder charges this season? Yet, has not missed a game. He is in the same book as NAS and JWH has a player that hasn't changed a single thing because fines do not mean anything.
I still maintain his and Burgess' charges were the wrong way aroundDeserved at least 1 week after week 1 as well.
This whole softer penalties in finals is ridiculous

Not sure if it belongs here, however Ryan Matterson has opted to take a 3 match suspension as opposed to a $4,000 fine. I can’t imagine a better scenario to sum him up.
He'd rather miss 3 games for his club than pay a fine that's less than 1% of his contract to be available for them? Not sure if it belongs here, however Ryan Matterson has opted to take a 3 match suspension as opposed to a $4,000 fine. I can’t imagine a better scenario to sum him up.

Matto would need to see a neurosurgeon after I’m done with him because I’d root the discs right out of his back.I want the judiciary to do live charges now.
Offer players the choice, cop a fine or sub off for the rest of the game.
I wonder what Matterson would choose.
Also what his price would be for @SLRBRONCOS to have his way..

That's next level greed.
Don't you mean AwFuL?Yeah if NRL players don't want to destroy their brain for our enjoyment, they should go and play some pansy sport like soccer
Sounds like Matterson is as tight as anything then. Makes Des Hasler look like a spendthrift by comparison.
Why Matterson took a three-match ban rather than pay 0.66% of his contract as a fine
The decision to cop a suspension rather than a fine has been described as a “head scratcher”, but Parramatta’s Ryan Matterson says he made the right call.www.smh.com.au
