Tripping was always looked at as the biggest dog act and repeat offenders were generally dealt with behind the bexley oval grandstand .

Tripping is coming more common in today's game, very sad
Played a lot of school boy footy on Bexley Oval.
Lovely ground with a white picket fence and grandstand on the southern side of the ground.
I remember playing a game there against Kingsgrove High School and the opposite prop had a constant loose arm and was raking at the ball in the scrum.
We complained to Mr. Mercer who was a well known referee and teacher from the local area and asked for a penalty.
His reply was "stand on it and he won't do it again" now that was refereeing at its best.

Agree but if were true to form Doust and co will bury their heads in the sand.
I was just listening to Benji on NRL on Fox. He said there is vision that shows the ref touched Friz first.

I also didn't know that Greenberg had brought this zero tolerance crap in LAST week.

It's just shambolic for any player to get suspended for this when players who trip and knock other players heads off face no time on the sideline or successfully fight the charge.

For me if they changed the rules last week they need to change them again this week.
It's not right that a player that accidentally touches the ref gets a week but players like Lyon can virtually accuse them of cheating just get a letter telling them they have been a naughty boy.

Well gents , I am afraid that it is time that we face the facts .
We are nothing more than a team of thugs . Week after week ,we knock the the stuffing out of the opposition teams with our dirty tactics .
And we always do this against the smaller teams , such as the Bulldogs , Roosters , Storm , Cowboys , Sharks , Rabbits etc. etc, So it's time that we accept our punishment.
And pigs fly !
The reality is that although Tyson Frizzell handled the Ref. ,it was nothing more than a reflex action ,as we all know there was no malice involved whatsoever .
Tyson Frizzell , a S.O.O. Hero one moment , and now a convicted bloody criminal .
The year has been terrible , and now it has become just that little bit worse .

I'm flabbergasted.
The NRL has really lost the plot since Greenburg took over. Grant ,Greenburg & Archer are today's version of the 3 stooges.
When players like Sterlo,Johns,Freddy,Lockyer etc etc say he should not be charged & the muppets on the judiciary disagree it goes to show how far out of touch they are.
