Dragonssuppoorter,
If you cast your memory back to the mid 90’s when Artherson and Quale were running the league , corruption towards Arthursons Manly and Quales Roosters were a fundelmental reason why Super League got the support it received.
25 years on I can see similarities with the Channel 9 backed Roosters and the NewsLimited/ Foxtel backed Storm.
The amount of betting organisations involved with the game at the moment is also reason to believe that corrupt activities are rampant throughout the NRL. Every second commercial is from a betting organisation!!!!!
If that was the case the Roosters would have won premierships through those years then if you are implying corruption was taking place.

I don't think Rupert League was about that it was about pay TV.

The ARL comp was far and away a better comp than the Rupert League one although i did find it strange that Channel 9 showed both comps notwithstanding the off field TV/Pay TV Broadcast rights battle going on between Packer and Murdoch.

You would have thought Rupert League would have been broadcast on a different channel than channel 9.

You obviously know nothing about the actual laws and rules that are supposed to be applied to the game of Rugby League.

You have lived in a protected bubble for so long you have lost all sense of reality and due process.

In case you don't know it is about "contact to the head" not about how did the contact to the head occur.

However your theory of him re hitting the ball 1st is incorrect anyway. Yes his arm does have contact with the ball but only after Rava is collared head high, pulled off balance and his head stops still whilst the rest of his body is propelled upward as his legs come to an abrupt halt.

You seem to suggest that Rava was running with the ball cocked against the side of his head so maybe a trip to Specsavers after you finish your latte might prove beneficial.

After you get your glasses on have a look at your mate JWH diving in on the legs of players and come up with some theory how that isn't illegal and dangerous under the rules of the game?

Oh silly me I forgot the rules don't apply to you "cocks"

Never mind the obvious tri-coloured goggles he's wearing, the thing that irks me the most is the throw away line "Never mind as Dragons carried on like they won the Grand Final." This implies that the day means nothing and is just another game.

Well it's not just another game. Outside of Grand Final and Origins, this is the biggest event on the calendar. And given the occasion some respect should be shown.

My brother is a Chooks supporter and messaged me saying "The best team won on the day. They showed a resolve that would make the diggers proud." That's what the day should mean to supporters of both teams.

The grandson and I had a massive amount of cock supporters around us crying out every 5 minutes about this and that, wanting our players to be binned and getting very animated as they were refereed back into the game.

They wanted a win and would take it anyway they could even if it meant us copping it up the arse from corrupt decisions.

So more than it looking like we won a grand final it was actually more like they lost one.

Some of them probably need Lifeline counselling

Ref had blinkers on when it came to the Dragons - Wouldn't want to buy carpet from him as his 10 metres for the Dragons was certainly not that. NRL wanted the Dragons to win simple as that

I thought we got lucky on the disallowed try as it was a bad defensive read but by the games rules the Roosters player caught it on the inside shoulder of his teammate and ran behind him. Clear shepherd. So Marshall Stalin, are you saying we should not apply the rules to all teams or just the Roosters? Otherwise, what's the use of having rules.

The Radley forward pass, I also think we got away with it as have seen more blatant ones let go. But even the Fox commentators begrudgingly said it was marginally forward.
There was no way the Dragons player was going to make a tackle or was hindered in doing so.

NRL just make it up as they go along - one a few weeks back the player lost the ball backwards but it was ruled by the Bunker that even though the ball went backwards the player regained possession when in front of the ball instead of coming from behind the ball to regather it so it was ruled a knock on.

The Baker pass to Radley was AOK and all channel 9 commentators agreed.

The mystery though is why Toops passed the ball as the try line was there if he put the foot down as he would have scored.

Roosters are very clunky in attack as they say as they created enough chances to win several games but didn't execute these by their poor play and not the Dragons defence

Channel 9 agreed so must be correct then. As I only watched the Fox coverage, what did they say about the Tupou head high?

The Bunker said it was not as bad as what it looked like - pointless saying anything else the decision was made.

Fox have too many there with their own agenda's so your not going to get unbiased opinions on incidents in games or on the game itself.

I find Fox to be detrimental to the game myself which coincides with the way Murdoch operates his newspapers and other media outlets.

Has way too much say and influence just like his Criminal Americansky country does.

Haaa why do use a German nazi name then?? Anyway go back to your chookpen then, and by the way there’s no chance that your steggles will be in the GF either.
Can’t wait for Teddy to miss a few games as without him lucky to scrape into the 8

St George wasn't broke, Illawarra was. St George has always be prudently run which is why they don't sack coaches at the first sign of a loss. They did hit paydirt picking up the Illawarra junior district, thou
