Yes the media loves the video review so much that the NRL / bunker now have themselves in a tizz everytime a player goes down with injury faking or not they almost scrutinise every possible slo mo footage which distors reality to blame a defending player with something.
This new version and analysis of a so called hip drop tackle in slo mo when a player is grabbing from the waist from behind is ridiculous.

What they need to do is focus on these stupid wrestle stand up tackles, calling held as soon as forward momentum is halted and police the ruck again around play the balls and ground wrestling.
Yes proper quicker play the balls by the rules but teams will change these grab and wrestle tactics quick enough.

Well said BLMO1 and the‘ hip - drop ‘ wrestling technique along with most other illegal tackling holds that the game now has , found its way from one club and one club only , which is located way down South of the country in Sin City .

Great news, I see that WWOS was reporting that the Molo hit would get him in strife along with McGuire's hip drop, fair dinkum the Molo hit was perfect and have a look at the photos of the McGuire tackle by the time he fell to the ground Moose was practically around his ankles. Anyway all irrelevant, we are good to go for the storm.
